WEB 1.0 and WEB 2.0 just defines the layout of Hyper-Text Mark-up language(HTML), where as WEB 3.0 will still be used as a foundation layer, but how it connects to data sources and where those data sources reside could be somewhat different than earlier generations of the web, this is where it will create an impact and make a difference.

WEB 2.0 relies on some form of centralized data source, but WEB 3.0 used decentralized data source like blockchain. As blockchain comes into picture, so it also pulls cryptocurrency along with it.
